This condo is one of three short sales owned by the same person. The price is very low because of the recent sale of another condo at this price. That sale forced all others to reduce their price. Earlier this year a similar unit sold for $125,000. These are by far the lowest priced condos near the beach. It is likely that these units will appreciate considerably with a matter of a few years. The location is a long block from the beach. These condos were apartments that were converted to condos in 2006. The original apartment buildings were built in 1984. The building were refurbished and the interiors completely redone. All interior doors were replaced with raised panel doors, The kitchen and baths were remodeling including new appliances. The carpeting needs cleaning as there are several stains that I believe will probably come out with a god cleaning. There is a on site rental office and many owners realize income from weekly vacation rentals.
All of these units already have multiple offers because of the price. One needs to be pre-approved for financing or have cash. From what I have learned one would need to offer over the asking price in order to be in contention.
